Simple view: per acre = the list’s dose per hectare × 0.405 (one acre is 0.405 hectare); per pump = the dose for a 15-litre pump at the water the list gives (dose per hectare × 15 ÷ litres of water per hectare); rounded. It is shown only where the list’s figures agree with the strength in the product’s name. Where the list gives the dose as a strength of the spray (for example 0.2% or 200 g in 100 litres of water), the pump amount is that strength × 15 litres, and per acre follows from the water the list gives; where it gives none, use as many pumps as your plants need. Seed treatments written per kg of seed are shown per kg and for 10 kg of seed; doses written per tree or plant are shown for each tree; an adjuvant or surfactant the list adds is shown under the pump amount. Where the list gives no water, per acre is shown only when the a.i. figure confirms the dose. Dips, drenches, low-volume sprays, doses with no clear basis and cells that contradict themselves say “see the full figures”. Government figures: per hectare, exactly as listed (a.i. and product in grams or ml unless a unit is shown (kg, litres, %)), water in litres; waiting period = days from the last application to harvest. Where the list names the crop with a method (for example “seed treatment” or “nursery”), it is shown under the product. The label of the product you buy is final.
